Participants will explore the incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans during World War II, including a trip to the 56th Manzanar Pilgrimage, 220 miles north of Los Angeles. Educators will be prepared to present this historical event, its causes, impact, and connections to current issues with their students.

• Costs: $130.00 (1 salary point) includes bus trip to Manzanar (lunch included)
• Requirements: Attend all 4 sessions–punctual attendance mandatory. No homework.
• Registration & Payment Deadline: March 12, 2025. No refunds after April 5, 2025. Registration is limited to the first 50 paid participants. All others will be put on a waiting list.
