This training will review the steps and protocols that apply when an itinerant educator experiences a workplace injury. Participants will learn how to seek timely medical attention, understand work status documentation, and navigate the interactive process for reasonable accommodations while working across multiple sites. This training will also cover key rights and responsibilities to help ensure itinerant members receive appropriate support and protection following a workplace injury. NOTE: This training is intended for itinerant UTLA members and leaders who want a clear understanding of the workplace injury and reasonable accommodations process as it applies to itinerant assignments.
