UTLA/AFT delegates to be elected January 29 for 2026 AFT Convention
AFT to hold convention in Washington, DC. July 16-19
UTLA members will elect delegates at the February 5 AFT 1021 General Membership Meeting to represent the union at the national convention of the American Federation of Teachers.
At the convention, AFT members from across the country will gather to debate and vote on important resolutions and constitutional amendments. The AFT convention is the most important policy-making body of the federation.
