This 37.5-hour hybrid course empowers UTLA site leaders to strengthen communication, collaboration, and trust across their school communities. Through live Zoom sessions, one in-person training, and asynchronous online assignments, participants gain the tools and confidence to lead effectively, support colleagues, and foster inclusive, solution-oriented environments.

• Lead a Chapter Action Team (CAT)
• Build trust with families, staff, and administrators
• Facilitate inclusive LSLC meetings
• Advocate effectively using UTLA structures

Enrollment Details:
The three Zooms and one in-person course are offered twice per year for all K–12 LAUSD educators and UTLA members.No prerequisites—just a passion for leadership and community! These classes never expire. You can take the courses at any time, maintain your completion certificate to submit for credit on google classroom. Homework assignments can be uploaded to the google classroom for review.
