Labor Community Services

The LA County Federation of Labor through its Labor Community Services is offering housing assistance, help with utilities, and food for impacted union members. Complete the LCS Assistance Intake Form and submit it along with the required supporting documentation to marcos@lcs-la.org.

CTA Resources

CTA has a webpage with ways to help and fire-related resources, including a link to CTA Disaster Relief, which provides financial assistance to members who have experienced significant losses due to natural or other disasters.

CFT Trauma Counseling

All active, working CFT members can access counseling if they are injured or traumatized by natural disasters like fires. This invaluable benefit offers one-to-one counseling sessions with a licensed therapist with a master’s degree or higher who has advanced training in post-traumatic incident recovery. To access this resource, go to the member benefits portal on the AFT website.
