As this week marked 4 years since the targeted shooting of the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, we are reminded that when public figures spew hate speech, white supremacists feel empowered to incite violence to further their agenda.

The very public displays of antisemitism here in Los Angeles earlier this week instilled fear in members of the Jewish community – including our members, students, and their families.

We will not let these attempts divide us. Only in solidarity against hate we can all find peace and safety.
