Twenty-four UTLA members have been named LAUSD Teachers of the Year, a designation that uplifts the profession and the skilled and passionate educators who exist in every school.

Spanning grades from UTK to high school and subject matters from business & finance to theater and physical education, the educators were selected for their exemplary work. Five of the teachers will move to the LA County process, with a chance to be named California Teacher of the Year.
