UTLA members at El Camino Real Charter High School escalated their fight for a fair contract with a strike authorization vote in August — their first strike vote as unionized charter educators. The results were overwhelming: 93% of El Camino educators voted to give the Bargaining Team the authority to schedule a strike should an agreement not be reached.
