UTLA is determined to protect educators from identity theft and other potential impacts of the illegal hack into LAUSD’s data systems.

UTLA is working with legal counsel and data experts and, along with the other unions of LAUSD, has demanded an immediate joint Labor Partner briefing by the district to discuss necessary protections and possible remedies for all LAUSD employees. UTLA will continue to monitor the situation closely.
