Everyday heroics by Minnesota community members continues to inspire the country while underscoring the trauma and violence being visited daily on immigrant and non-immigrant families. Los Angeles is similarly a city under attack, where people are being kidnapped off the streets and community members every day are the resistance.

There is a lot of need in Minneapolis and surrounding areas right now. Many people are staying home to keep themselves safe as ICE continues its violent, militarized presence. Schools are doubling down on their work to support families and serve as Sanctuary communities. 

Teachers’ union allies in Minnesota shared ways people outside of the city can help.  UTLA is collecting Mutual Aid donations that will be distributed to the organizations listed below.
