In response to a summer of escalating ICE raids that shook immigrant communities, both documented and undocumented, we stood united to offer support and reassurance, gathering outside campuses with signs and “Know Your Rights” leaflets to send a clear message to families: educators will fight to ensure that schools are safe and welcoming spaces for all, and the people of LA will work together to keep students and families safe during the terrorism we are experiencing from ICE and the Trump administration. Check out this photo collection for images of the the powerful solidarity shown by educators across the city.
