The agreement also protects TK teachers as pressure mounts to expand their job duties to include changing diapers and potty training. Montague educators leafleted parents, spoke at board meetings, and took a supermajority vote of members to petition management to come to a fair settlement. Montague Chapter Chair Linda Cardilino says it took a lot to get here. “Getting to this agreement was a challenging feat that took the hard work of members, Montague parents, our CAT team, and the negotiating team to make this happen,” says Cardilino.
